About DateSafe
DateSafe helps people make a plan, check in, and coordinate with people they trust while dating or meeting someone new. It is built around private support, not public profiles or ratings of other people.
Why we built it
People already send screenshots, addresses, and check-in times to group chats. DateSafe turns that informal habit into a calmer system with Date Cards, timed safety sessions, trusted contacts, and explicit ways to signal for help.
The system can reduce uncertainty, but it cannot predict another person’s behavior, guarantee that a message is delivered, or dispatch emergency services. DateSafe is one layer in a broader personal safety plan.
Editorial standards
Our team writes from direct knowledge of the DateSafe product and reviews safety guidance against established independent resources. We are product builders, not emergency responders or a substitute for a qualified advocate.
Useful before searchable
Every page must answer a real safety or product question. We do not publish articles only because a keyword has traffic.
Evidence over confidence
We distinguish product behavior from general guidance, link to established safety organizations, and name important limitations.
No invented proof
We do not invent statistics, testimonials, incidents, expert endorsements, or case studies. Aggregate product data will include its method and limits.
Privacy before promotion
User stories require informed permission and careful de-identification. We do not publish another person's identity, live location, or private date details.
Substantive updates only
An updated date means the article itself changed meaningfully. We do not change dates simply to make old work appear fresh.
Corrections stay visible
When a material claim is wrong, we correct it and note the change. Readers can report concerns to support@getdatesafe.app.
DateSafe content is not medical, legal, or emergency advice. If you are in immediate danger in the United States, call 911. For confidential support, visit our safety resources.
Questions and corrections
Report a factual concern, accessibility issue, or potential correction at support@getdatesafe.app. We review material corrections before updating the published page.
